Browser and network tools
Understand opt-in browsing and local-only network boundaries.
Applies to Bridge rc.32
Select a browsing path
Bridge has an owned browser and a separate compatible Chrome companion path. Set up and approve the path you intend to use. Some browser actions require the companion; a visible control is not proof the connection is live.
Keep local-only work local
Local-only network posture hides model-visible web and browser tools. If you enable network tools or connect an external service, relevant requests can leave the machine. Review the site and material before an upload, sign-in or send action.
Search and browser data
Browser settings expose supported history, downloads, contacts and site-permission controls. Imported profiles, authenticated downloads and provider behavior depend on the implemented path. Do not assume every browser capability is supported.
When a page fails
Check the real connection and permissions rather than repeatedly retrying a submission. Saved browser state does not authorize a purchase, message, upload or security change.
