Desktop notification controls

Choose when Bridge alerts you and check operating-system permissions.

Open General

In the shipped release, notification preferences are part of Settings → General. Choose whether turn completion alerts appear never, when the app is unfocused, or always. Permission requests and questions have their own notification choices.

Choose sound

Select an available Bridge sound or None. Also check the operating system’s notification permission, volume and focus settings. An app preference cannot override a blocked OS notification.

Check the task

An alert is not proof a task succeeded. Open the chat and read its result. A dedicated Notifications page and broader account-delivery categories are later preparation, not instructions for this release.
