Recovery codes

Single-use codes that get you in when your authenticator is gone.

What they are

When you enable two-factor authentication, Alluqi issues a set of recovery codes. Each code works exactly once, in place of an authenticator code, when you sign in.

Storing them

• Keep them somewhere separate from the authenticator itself — a password manager’s secure notes or a printed copy in a safe place.
• Treat each code like a key to your account; anyone holding one can pass your second factor once.

If you are locked out

No authenticator and no recovery codes means we need to verify you another way. Reply to your onboarding thread or reach the team through alluqi.ai/quote and we will help you recover access.
