Sites and local previews

Create a site draft and inspect its isolated local preview.

Create a local draft

Open Sites and choose Create, or ask Bridge to create a Site with static HTML, CSS and JavaScript. Review tool approvals. The source and its versions stay in the active local profile.

Inspect the preview

Open the saved draft to inspect its preview. The preview is isolated from Bridge tools and Node access; outbound requests, permissions, downloads and popups are denied. A site that depends on a remote service may need a separate deployment to work fully.

Versions and export

Use Versions to preview a saved version without replacing the current Site. Restore only after reviewing the version. Download exports the source files as a ZIP to the destination you choose.

Publishing is separate

Creating or exporting a Site does not publish it, connect a domain or database, configure sign-in, or grant cloud sharing. Choose and authorize a hosting destination separately.
