Pairing your iPhone with Bridge

Scan a QR code from your desktop; approve the phone; done.

Before you start

• Alluqi Bridge for iPhone installed and signed in to the same account as your desktop.
• The desktop app open and signed in.

Pairing, step by step

1. On the desktop app, open device pairing — it shows a QR code.
2. On your iPhone, choose to pair and point the camera at the QR code.
3. Confirm on the desktop when it shows the new phone.
4. Your phone reports it is paired securely.

What pairing establishes

Pairing exchanges keys directly between your two devices. From then on, traffic between your iPhone and your desktop is encrypted end to end — the relay that carries it cannot read it. See Encryption in Bridge.
